Surely Lasham is not the largest gliding club in the world, comparing the clubs in Australia and U.S. Can someone verifiy this and change it please? Perhaps to largest in the europe.En51cm17:47, 11 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
OK I have modified the claim. Lasham has 650 full flying members as measured by the capitation charge paid to the British Gliding Association. In this charge there are adjustments made for cadet and student members, which makes the real total even larger. I would be interested to know of a larger club.
