Mistake edit
The article claims that the condition of a vector field on a (maximal) subset of R^3 being a gradient is equivalent to the condition of it being irrotational, which is only correct if this subset is simply connected. --5.61.187.205 (talk) 11:43, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
