Elevating Entertainment

It doesn't seem as if Elevating Entertainment is connected to Lamon Records other than having the same owner. They are not subsidiaries of each nor do they appear to work together (at least from the article). If no evidence can be provided of any connection, then EE shouldn't be in this article. Per company's own website (http://www.lamonrecords.com/movies.html) and numerous web hits when searched together, Elevating Entertainment is a sister/subsidiary company and as such, it is very much appropriate to include it here, especially per the AfD discussion which redirected "Elevating Entertainment" to this page in the first place. If there wasn't an obvious connection, consensus among multi editors would not have redirected it here at the conclusion of the discussion process. Lrcee (talk) 21:00, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Failed verifications

I removed a lot of the spam and unsupported statements, and added source tags but these have been removed and the problems unaddressed. Here, for example, Lrcee removed a link to the Songwriter's Parade website and removed the failed V tag, but kept the rest of the citation for some peculiar reason. That seems strange to me; if it indeed supported that statement, why would you remove the link to it? The other sources are similar; the failed sources appear to have been replaced by equally unsupportive ones. For example,

In 2007, Lamon's Americana recording artist Chris Berardo and the DesBerardos had their album "Ignoring All The Warning Signs..." produced by Dave Moody and Dick Neal, recognized on XM Radio's Year-end Top 40 X-Country Album Chart.

is supposed to be supported by this, only it has no mention of Dave Moody or Lamon Records. You've also added back the supportive citations [1] [2] for "In addition to the Moody Brothers' two Grammy Award nominations, Lamon's artists, producers and songwriters have won eight Dove Awards and over fifty Dove Award nominations from the members of the Gospel Music Association since 2002." For the sources "Charlotte Label in Gospel Spotlight" and "Moodys Play With Czech Mates", can you provide the exact quotes that supports the statements made? I feel the totality of references provided do support the statements made in this article. The link you question about CB "Ignoring..." does mention the Year-end Top 40 Chart position, though it doesn't mention LR or DM directly. Seems the important thing to cite is the national success of the album. The label and producer are available almost everywhere. (see http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:hzfqxqlrld6e and the appropriate tabs, if needed.) In the GMA Dove award link [1] you question, if you search for "Lamon" in the database the link directs you to, you'll find the winners as listed there. Link [2] points to DM's numerous nominations in this year. The total number of the label's nominees are available here (http://www.lamonrecords.com/awards.html) though I didn't use this page from the label as it's not suitable for a reference, but it is nonetheless a good page to see all the nominees in one place, if needed. It could be done with independent verifiable links but that would require 9 separate years of references for each year's Dove nominations which seems a bit over the top for this one sentence. The Billboard and Charlotte Observer articles are not online to my knowledge, but are available from their respective archives.
