Assessment edit

No decent references, so has to be a stub. --Peeky44 (talk) 22:13, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Over a decade on it now qualifies as a start-class but still needs more refs. -Voello (talk) 12:19, 22 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Wonders of the Wight edit

I have removed the following from the article has not all of it is notable here. Maybe notable somewhere else though?

"It is one of the 'Wonders of the Isle of Wight' that are:

  1. "Lake" where there is no water.
  2. The "Needles" you cannot thread.
  3. "Ryde" where you walk.
  4. "Cowes" you cannot milk.
  5. "Freshwater" you cannot drink.
  6. "Newport" you cannot bottle.
  7. "Winkle street" where there are no Winkles.
  8. "Newtown" which is very old." Arriva436talk/contribs 18:44, 12 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Agreed. They should probably go somewhere, but not here. It was the only 'wonder' to feature all the other 'Wonders of the Wight' on anyway. They used to appear on the main Isle of Wight article until a user removed it. There is a discussion here about whether such material can be spun out into its own article one day, with other information on the wonders here. Editor5807speak 14:03, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Too much detail edit

The facilities section seems to go into too much detail, non of it referenced. RJFJR (talk) 16:08, 4 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
