... but the article needs more work. It has no reference list, and needs editing for style. — Sasuke Sarutobi (talk) 00:05, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. I have no earthly idea what this article is talking about. 75.34.18.14 (talk) 21:51, 21 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am not an expert in this area but find the recency of the citations in this article suspicious. The lacuna model was a common currency when I was studying literary theory in US in 1984. Would have expected citations or mentions of perhaps Derrida,Barthes, Baudrillard, Irigaray etc.82.35.244.11 (talk) 06:15, 3 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

From a theoretical perspective, this description of "Lacuna Model" is grossly uninformative. I was unable to locate any meaningful articles from the citations and I found no justification that such a model exists in anything outside of this page. In other contexts, "Lacuna" refers to a specific gap (missing context) in a text, language, or social construct. The citations from this article (which are circumspect) would be better noted in respective definitions of the noun, rather than inventing a model that does no real justice to the word. 74.109.218.202 (talk) 03:41, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
