I have begun providing a list of L-number catfish. As the list grows (ie. there are more Wikipedia articles devoted to Loricariids) we can make a list article. L-number lists are extremely useful when one sees an L-number but doesn't know what fish goes with it. MiltonT 05:50, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
"Pseudo-scientific"
editCalling L-numbers "pseudo-scientific" in the opening paragraph feels inaccurate. It's not trying to pass itself off as scientific, it just stands outside the realm of scientific classification. Antrogh (talk) 03:48, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
- Agreed. I'm changing it to quasi-scientific. - Soulkeeper (talk) 12:35, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
- On further thought, perhaps "quasi" is too negatively charged as well. "Semi"? - Soulkeeper (talk) 19:05, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
- It's semi on frwiki, so I went ahead and changed it to that. - Soulkeeper (talk) 22:16, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
