Background and recording

• Minogue met with several songwriters and producers to create the album, among them was Mexican-American producer Fernando Garibay. Two sentences. The comma is not enough. Replace it with a semicolon. (WP:CINS)
• They recorded several songs intended for Kiss Me Once but none of them made it onto the final tracklist. Comma after "Once"

• Garibay has known Moroder since he was 16, and admired his early film scores for their sensuality. Remove comma (sentence has one subject, not two)

Music and lyrics

• "Black and White" is a 1990s-inspired chill-out Eurodance song, in which Shaggy raps over Minogue's delicate vocals. Remove comma (CINS)
• The EP was digitally distributed on the iTunes Store and streaming service Spotify, before Warner Music Japan and Parlophone released it as a promotional CD-R five days later. No need for this comma right now; maybe drop "before" and add a semicolon there instead

Reception

• A low-key experimental project, Kylie and Garibay has little success on the music charts Should this not be "had"
• In 2023, Classic Pop's listed "Black and White" and "If I Can't Have You" among Minogue's best collaborations, and named "Your Body" her second-best deep-cut track. Remove comma after "collaborations" (CINS)

  • Your Body as earliest song: Not seeing it. Does another ref cover this?

  • Garibay trying to go erotic: His early stuff was really sexual and erotic, but not in a pornographic way. It was more like art. I’ve always wanted to do something like that. Y
  • Need for a male counterpart: We needed someone to play the part of the guy. Who was that guy? Who better than Shaggy?
  • Introduction to Shaggy: Garibay says that when they were working on the tune, “it was missing something… I was like, ‘God, we need someone on this.’” After brainstorming, his manager, Martin Kierszenbaum, suggested Shaggy.
• 20: I can't verify Flynn, as the images are unreadable. The others work: Kylie previously worked with Garibay on last year’s Sleepwalker EP, but the new mini-collection takes on a very different tone and The appropriately-titled Kylie + Garibay is the pop icon’s second collaborative effort with the dance producer (revisit their first here), but the tone is very different this time around Y

• 61: A captivating Italian monologue recited by disco legend Giorgio Moroder heralds the intersection of three electro heavyweights on ‘Your Body’. Released between Minogue albums as part of a collaborative EP with Fernando Garibay (best known for his work on Lady Gaga’s Born This Way), the track is mechanical and mesmerising. Y
