Fp. Kribianum is the fish from (only, sorta) Kribi, Cameroon.

Fp. fallax is found all over the place.

Fp. Schwoiseri is the form found in Malende, Cameroon that also used to be referred to fallax but has been a valid species for some time now.

C.] 1974:157, Fig. 1 [Aquaria: Vivaristische Fachzeitschrift für die Schweiz und Österreich v. 21 (no. 11); ref. 18681] Malende-Nyaka, north of Muyuka, near the road to Kumba from Buea, western Cameroon, 4°22'N, 9°27'E [or 9°26'E]. Holotype: NMW 74935. Paratypes: NMW 74936 (1).
