Merge proposal edit
This is simply the Russian word for a Cross-procession, which is common to all Orthodox traditions and is more generally covered in Crucession. (Although I contend that article should be named "Cross-procession".) TCC (talk) (contribs) 23:31, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

- Would it? Why not make it a general article to cover this custom as it exists in all Christianity? To split them up by rite seems uncalled-for. That's so long as it's really called the same thing in the Western rites; if they have another name for it that's what should be used. That would render the parenthetical addition unnecessary. - I agree that the two articles should be merged under an English language name (this is, after all English Wikipedia), but let's not make the name--whatever is decided on--too complex, or it may be difficult to find in a search. Also, whatever namespace is used, it should probably be linked to from the Procession article. MishaPan 22:11, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
