Three landsdele, not counties edit

As a Dane it is fairly strange to see this idea about the three Greenlandic counties. Greenland was (on paper) integrated into Denmark in 1950 "with the status of a Danish county (amt)", so in reality the whole country was an amt. Grønlands Amt was a term used for elections. The subdivision was into three landsdele (parts of the country, or divisions). This three county thing has spread across Wikipedia (outside the Danish wiki), but it does not seem to be sourced and is AFAIK a fiction.--Batmacumba (talk) 08:09, 31 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

There were also no elected councils for the three divisions (something you would have in a Danish county at the time). They served as units for statistical purposes and certain regulations were limited to 1-2 of the divisions, but they did not function as administrative unit per se, so the idea they had capitols is also strange.
