Erroneous edit
editThe pub that used to be situated on the main road in Kingswood was indeed called the Crooked Billet. In 1984-1985 I lived in the next house along the road from it and I used to go there frequently. At that time there was not (nor has there ever been, to the best of my knowledge) any establishment called the "Cook and Fillet".
It seems to me that the edit which changed the name of this pub was probably an immature prank. Ralphclark (talk) 17:07, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- A quick search suggests similarly; I've altered accordingly. I hope the beer was good back in 1984-85, Ralph! Hchc2009 (talk) 19:19, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
