I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 01:31, 16 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • No DABs, external links OK
  • Drop the terminal zero for the length in the infobox and main body
    • Fixed
  • Be consistent about using the times sign in the propulsion field in the infobox
    • Good catch
  • Any publication history for File:Battleship USS KEARSARGE 1908 (TRANSPORT 1199).jpg?
    • Can't find anything - replaced
  • File:USS Kearsarge Brassey's.png is this one of Barnaby's drawings? Needs a British tag as well, I believe
    • Fixed
  • The sourcing on File:BB05 Kearsarge BB06 Kentucky USN photo www.navsource.org.jpg needs to be improved. See if you can find it on the Library of Congress website.
    • I can't track it down, I'll just cut it for now
  • Couldn't access File:USS Kearsarge as crane ship AB-1.jpg to see what the sourcing was. But it also needs to be improved.
    • Replaced
      • Much better photo, though I'd update the copyright info to the standard NHHC format before the ACR.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 17:27, 19 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Use the sourcing data for File:Uss kentucky bb-6.jpg from the NHHC
    • Fixed
  • what were to become the Kearsarge class what were? Howzabout "that became" or somesuch?
    • Works for me
  • Watch your conversion for 12 inch
    • Fixed
  • No need to convert 13 inches in the 2nd para of the Design section and 8 inches in the following para
    • Removed
  • had made improvements to their gun turret designs, significant weight savings were achieved convoluted
    • I think that got rewritten a few times too many
  • 12-inch guns could be penetrate even missing word
    • Fixed
  • Link long ton in the main body, also elevation
    • Done
  • 16.816 knots Three trailing digits seems a bit excessive; suggest just one.
    • Fair enough
  • Use this as a model for 2-inch-thick: {{convert|24|ft|m|adj=mid|-long}} and remove the conversion for 2 inches in the following para.
    • Thanks
  • Is there a link for Mosher boiler? Never heard of them before
    • Not that I was able to find
  • More later.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 20:53, 16 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • I'd missed File:USSkearsarge-bb5-underway.jpg earlier, but the sourcing needs to be improved. All of the other photos are up to snuff although there's a bit of a ping-pong effect going on
    • Cleaned up
  • 2-inch-thick for the 13-inch No need to hyphenate 2 inches thick
    • Fixed
  • Provide a conversion for 6 mm
    • Done
  • Link the nautical terms in the header of the table unless previously used and then removed the links from the following text.
    • Done
  • When did the turret accident occur?
    • Whoops!
  • I'd add something like Kentucky joining her sister in the 4th division.
    • Tweaked
  • Anything more substantial available on what Kentucky did in Veracruz
    • Not much from DANFS, at least
  • Link New England and West Coast.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 17:27, 19 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
