Concerning explaination by Franck-Condon factors edit

I think the explaination of Kasha's rule as given in this article does not really make sense, since internal conversion cannot occur between two v=0 states. IC is an isoenergetic transition and does always end up in a vibrationally excited state. The important Franck-Condon factor is therefore between the v=0 level of the higher electronic state and a v>0 level of the lower one.

Explanation of Azulene edit

The old explanation for the S2 fluorescence is probably wrong. Have corrected it to what the present explanation is now, but havn't put any references since I don't have time to look for them. (My source for the explaination was from a lecture from Prof. Softley from Oxford). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.67.110.30 (talk) 17:56, 27 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
