GA review (see here for criteria)

  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose):   b (MoS):
    • In the route description, you begin two consecutive sentences with "North of". One of these should be changed.
Yeah, I used that transition too often. Fixed.
    • The sentence "After this intersection, the highway crosses the Little Osage River, then leaves Bourbon County and enters Linn County." sounds awkward. I would remove the mention of leaving Bourbon County because by stating it is entering Linn County, you are already implying it is leaving the previous county mentioned.
      Rewritten.
    • "By 1950, the portion of K-3 in Crawford County had been paved, leaving the remainder of the route yet to be improved" I don't see the need for the rest of the sentence after the comma since that is already implied.
I guess that is pretty redundant. Axed.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
Can some more historical details be added to the lead?
Did the best I can. There's not the greatest amount of history on this.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

I will place the article on hold for a few small fixes to be made. Dough4872 17:26, 3 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
