Honorable Joshua West Born July 30, 1715 in Lebanon, Goshen Parish, graduated at Yale, 1738.[1] He was a Representative in the Legislature, 27 sessions, judge of the County Court, Captain of the Militia, deacon, and served as a Captain in the Franch & Indian War. In 1776, he was appointed by the Connecticut Legislature one of the non members of the Revolutionary committee of the safety of the Colony. He died on Jan 20, 1743 aged 68.[2]
