I'll leave it to someone else, because I'm not sure what, if anything should go in its place, but clearly the following text should not be included in the introduction paragraph to the venue:

Unfortunately, this venue is poorly managed and should be avoided at all costs. Roads to and from the venue are insufficient and traffic jams are impossible to avoid. Many concert goers have missed shows due to hours spent in traffic caused by inept facility management. Radiohead's recent performance is one example of thousands of ticket holders being unable to enter due to poor planning by venue management.

I think the parking information might be a bit unnecessary as well.

I think it's fine to include something like this in some kind of controversy section on the entry. But it is wrong to include it in the opening paragraph to the entry. Agerard (talk) 17:17, 13 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Controversy Section

edit

This is unacceptable, really. I admit, I'm a member of the parking staff at this venue. There are shows where we clear out all the lots within 90 minutes. An act of God screwed up that concert. The rest of the time, we do alright. Notice there are no bad reports when there are concerts on sunny days. Prince William County police also handles the 2 lane road leading to the venue, and those heading to the venue are prioritized over rush hour traffic at times. I say that paragraph be edited to be at least a controversy section. One concert shouldn't ruin the reputation of this venue.

The article isnt big enough to add a whole section devoted specifically to controversy. If you can get us a news article stating how wonderful the parking is, I will be more than willing to add it. Believe me. Whats on there now is tame compared to how it has been in the past. Qb | your 2 cents 09:27, 19 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

List of Performers

edit

The list of performers at this venue has, IMO, gotten out-of-hand. What should be done about it? --Tim Sabin (talk) 16:51, 4 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

My family and I went to the Jimmy Buffet concert last night (Sept 4). It was the first time we have been to the Jiffy Lube. It was great. I was wondering how many people was suppose to be there? I have never seen so many people in my life at a concert. It was almost scary a few times. But we all had a great time.99.196.32.58 (talk) 17:27, 5 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Second hand Smoke at the Jiffy Lube Pavillion

edit

I recently attended an event at the Jiffy Lube Pavillion; it was an hour before the seating was open; everyone was confined in the concession area where smoking was rampant and intense. I have not subject to so much second hand smoke in years. I would avoid this venue if you care at all about your health. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.255.42.65 (talk) 02:03, 26 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
