Shouldn't we say he's the father of Ben Stiller close to the beginning? His wife should probably also be mentioned at the beginning. They are more noteworthy than his parents.

R30 Appearance

You know, I've always wondered exactly how Jerry Stiller's presence on this Rush DVD/album came to be. Is Stiller a fan of Rush's music? Is Rush a fan of Stiller's work? Does anyone have any idea?

If he and Anne Meara have been married since the 1950s, it's a pretty fair bet they've been married 'over 40 years'. 203.153.230.101 06:08, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

Heavyweights

Didn't Jerry make an appearance as the brankrupt former owner of Camp Hope in Heavyweights?

Austrian/Russian American

I have removed these categories as this individual does not qualify as an Austrian-American or Russian-American. He is of Jewish descent, and since this is an ethnicity itself, the aforementioned terms would only apply in a political sense, and not in terms of ethnic descent as is required here.

If you're going to point out his "Jewish" heritage, you might wish to clarify that he is actually Catholic.

As were both Frank Costanza and Arthur Spooner -- contrary to popular belief!

Picture needed

This article needs a picture. Has anyone a picture of Jerry Stiller? Weird Bird 16:54, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

Resurgence

How can you say his career had a 'resurgence' without any text whatsoever about what his career before that point was? 69.250.74.250 05:19, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

HBO Sneak Previews

I best know of team of Stiller and Meara from this half hour show they hosted on HBO, so I felt it significant enough to add, thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Timmmahhhh (talkcontribs) 06:22, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

The Kumite?

"Stiller is a martial arts enthusiast and has hosted the Kumite three times."

He's hosted THE Kumite? Kumite is a part of karate training, and can be a karate competition, but THE Kumite is the supposedly super-secret competition. Saying "hosted the Kumite" instead of "hosted kumite" is like saying "played in the World Series" instead of "played in a regular-season baseball game." Is this real or vandalism? A Google search finds loads of references, but all on other wikis and ask sites, apparently pulled from this article. Can anyone else find proof of this? Indy (talk) 23:32, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
