Talk:Jeigan

Oifaye doesn't really count.

Oifaye DOES count. He starts at a high level. And he also has the misfortune of being among the 2nd generation characters, who can become practically gods, right to the point where MASTER KNIGHT LEAF is underpowered in comparison. JuigiKario 01:22, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm aware that this article is not directly related to the Nintendo Wars series. However, due to the recent vandalism (and I have a good suspicion as to the identity of who is responsible), Jeigan is now under watch of the NW Series WikiProject. JuigiKario 01:22, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Duessel

edit

Should Fire Emblem 8's Duessel be counted as a Jeigan? He isn't a Paladin but he's a Great Knight, which is the other choice for a promotion Cavaliers have in Fire Emblem 8. He comes at an exceedingly high level but has low stat growths.

Eh? His only bad growth is his 20% luck growth.
He comes far too late to be called a Jeigan. You might as well call people like Hawkeye, Jeigans, if you're going to start including people like Duessel. --Dark Twilkitri 10:48, 9 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
Ah, but Zealot is refered to as a Jeigan often and he comes in chapter 7 of FE6. Thunk 00:06, 23 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Zealot is considered a Jeigan by many, since new FE players often use Marcus, therefore lowering everyone else's stats. Because of that, when Zealot comes in, players like to use him along with Marcus since his stats would be higher than the other unpromoted chars. Duessel's sort of a Jeigan, since he comes better than most units, (unless the player has been using the tower like crazy) and so he often looks tempting to use, whereas Franz or Kyle have better growths and ending stats at 20/20 then Duessel; long story short, Duessel is a Jeigan, but other units can make up the lost exp in the Tower or Ruins.

Sigurd is NOT a Jeigan.

edit

Sure, he starts at Level 5 Promoted, but in FE4, the character's level is NOT decreased upon promotion. So his two lesser Social Knight lackeys don't have much of a head start, especially since there are enough Barbarians and Bandits in the first half of Prologue alone to get them to catch up. This makes Sigurd's growths far more important in a hurry, and they're very good. The clincher for this is the high HP and Physical Defense growths for the first generation. Sigurd is the worst unit in his generation of FE4, and sucks EXP.

No he isn't. If anyone is, it's Diadora. So what, is she a Jeigan now? ~_~ TealTerror
Well, Diadora would be among the people who would be a Jeigan if Sigurd is a Jeigan. But then again, if that was the case, Jeigans would be making up about 6-8 first generation characters, which is 1/4 to 1/3 of them in total. JuigiKario 01:00, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
If we're going to count Sigurd as a Jeigan because his stats suck and he can't promote, then that would make Marth a Jeigan too. In which case, it would be more correct to say Jeigan is a Marth. DMAJohnson 00:52, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
How is Sigurd able to suck EXP the way a Jeigan does when his subordinates catchup with the layout of Prologue taken into consideration? You're simply ignoring the points I had made that Sigurd still gains EXP at a decent rate and has above average growths. JuigiKario 01:00, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
This whole "Sigurd's a Jeigan" thing came from a user on GameFAQs called shiningpikablu252. He's generally thought of as a joke account or bot because of his inability to recognize hard facts. Whoever is editing this page to say Sigurd is a Jeigan is probably mocking pikablu or is pikablu him/herself.
I'm aware of that. That's why I'm suspecting it's him. FE7SBians.....go figure. >_> Either way, there's a troll hell-bent on ruining the entry. JuigiKario 05:31, 23 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
Now seriously, can you please mature a little bit and stop insulting me?
I fixed your username. Happy now? Though I don't know why I should make you that. Not after the crap your little group had pulled before, including the invasion of the Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire board when FE7's board had before hit #1 on the GameFAQs Top 10 GBA game boards. And for the love of God, you've already been blocked once. Do you want to be blocked again or banned? JuigiKario 23:30, 26 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
I did no such thing, and if you're bent on accusing me of something I didn't do, then I've got nothing to say to you.
The FE7SBians did indeed invade the Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire board on GameFAQs on December 27, 2003. And since you had tried to delete all the stuff on your IP's talk page, you shall now be reported. Juigi Kario (Charge! * My crusades) 03:24, 27 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
I was not involved in that. I don't go to the Social Boards, however I do visit the game boards for both Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire and the two English Fire Emblem games released on the GameBoy Advance.
I put Sigurd on as disputed to be a Jeigan, like Oifaye.
