This is a complete marketing spin of bulloney. Jasomi is neither the #3 vendor, nor "created most of the technical innovation for SBCs".
- Agreed. Article doesn't sound like it was from encyclopedia but rather like it was from add brochure. Benefited investors and employees, but later most of them were sacked. Ha ha. : Seriously though, if only that was rare after acquisitions. Too bad it happens all the time - including to Kagoor and Aravox after their acquisitions. Jasomi isn't number 3 by now, but in the day it had some pretty big deployments, so by number of users it may have been, but then, not now. And its innovations were largely in the security area. No innovations from them for the last couple of years tho.
Voice overipee (I presume the comment above comes from you, since the comment above is unsigned, but your name was in the history database as the only editor):
I am certainly up for the debate on this subject, and this is as good a place as any to have it. Please list what you consider the major technical innovations of SBCs, so that we can have a discussion of their origins.
Meanwhile, I must revert some of your edits, which deleted pertinant information. -- Dan Danfreedman 19:29, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
