• "the most recent occurring in 1993" Firstly, this could quickly become out of date, and, secondly, you may be accused of recentism. How about something like "with significant incidents taking place in year a, year b and year c".

• I've reworded this as "in January 1993, the Danish coaster Bettina Danica ran aground off the southern end of Stroma." Prioryman (talk) 22:02, 16 August 2014 (UTC)

• "who uses it to graze the cattle and sheep which are now its only occupants." This isn't strictly true, as there are wild animals as well.

• "The eastern side of the island has a pronounced easterly or south-easterly dip which increases from around 3 degrees in the centre of the island to about 30 degrees on the east coast." I don't follow this- it seems a little technical?

• Reworded as "The eastern side of the island slopes downward in an easterly or south-easterly direction, with the angle of the slope increasing from around 3 degrees in the centre of the island to about 30 degrees on the east coast", which hopefully is clearer. • "Middle Old Red Sandstone" Worth a redlink? We have Old Red Sandstone

• "Cist-like structures which the islanders called "Picts' Beds" are also found on the island, notably in the north near Nethertown harbour where they are located in conjunction with middens from which animal bones and shells are eroding out." Could this be rephrased? I don't follow.

• One confusion I have concerns when people stopped living on the island. You write that "The Mansons finally left Stroma on 6 December 1962, bringing to an end thousands of years of permanent habitation on the island.[54]" But further down, you say that lighthouse keepers and their families lived on the island?

• No contradiction. The lighthouse keepers and their families were temporary inhabitants who only stayed there for a while during their postings. Prioryman (talk) 22:02, 16 August 2014 (UTC)

• File:Stroma OS map.png could do with slightly clearer sourcing information.

If you're looking towards FAC, you may want to consider these...

• I'd personally like to hear a bit more about the flora and fauna (and fungi?) of Stroma. Any studies?

• Some people may pick you up on not-so-neutral language- "treacherous" seas and the like. There's a lot of that in the section about wreck salvage
• I'm happy with the sources for GAC purposes, but be prepared to defend the sources you do use at FAC. Reference formatting (for example, whether and how you cite publisher locations) will be gone over with a fine-toothed comb, and books from smaller publishers may be scrutinised. Page numbers for the newspaper articles which aren't online should probably also be provided. You should really cite the article (with author and page numbers) in Walker's Hibernian Magazine, rather than the whole magazine.

• You list the publisher- looking at digitisation, it seems no author is listed. I've added the title of the particular article you're citing; it's a periodical, rather than a book, so the way you cited it didn't quite work for me.
