This article has been expanded to include financial context. This article is longer than the National Investor Relations Institute which is on Wikipedia. Richard M.A. Knight 14:47, 14 September 2007 (UTC)HiReply

Which specific part of the notability criteria does this organization meet? Can you provide two or three independent, significant sources (NOT the group's own web site) to confirm its importance? -FisherQueen (Talk) 15:37, 17 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

The organisation is notable because it is the professional body in the world's fifth largest economy (Britain) for Investor Relations, a growing and crucial function of modern companies. All companies looking for investment now have investor relations areas on their websites and dedicated investor relations officers. The Investor Relations Society is noteworthy as it seeks to assist these officers in their work. I have added references to demonstrate what this organisation does.Richard M.A. Knight 09:14, 18 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
