confusing for who are not competent edit

The term intrafusal fibers are used for both muscle and nerve fibers in the article, thus someone who is not so familiar with the subject may be puzzled.C39 14:22, 13 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Separate Proprioception Topic... edit

I suggest that there should be a separate Proprioception topic with subtopics: Muscle Spindles, Golgi Tendon Organs. This would provide a better format through witch one could explain the facilitory role of muscle spindles (type I and IIa intrafusal fibers) and the inhibitory role of golgi tendon organs.

  • The word proprioception isn't even used in this article. Maybe it should.--Drewlew (talk) 18:14, 17 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Splitting out fibre types edit

Hey Arcadian. Nice addition of the template. On the splitting of this into fibre types do you think there is enough information to warrant two articles? At the moment all the articles are left at stub length so I am concerned about splitting them. |→ Spaully 08:18, 6 May 2007 (GMT)
