• Ok, I've read through the article. This is actually the first road article I've reviewed, so I may be unfamiliar with some of the conventions. Lead

• I'd suggest putting the second paragraph in chronological order, mentioning the Buick name before the UAW.
• You mention that the UAW name is "honoring the United Auto Workers, a labor union which was active in Flint", but don't explain the reasoning behind the Buick name, might want to do so.

• "At the same time, the name of I-69/M-21 in Flint was changed from the "Chevrolet Freeway" to the "Chevrolet-Buick Freeway"." I'm not certain if this is significant enough for the lead, but not a big deal.

Route description

• "where it runs for about 1+1⁄2 miles (2.4 km)" I'm curious why you used a fraction here?
  • To imply the level of imprecision in the measurement... 1.5 miles would imply a precision to the tenth of a mile, but 1½ miles implies only a precision to the nearest half (or maybe quarter) of a mile. Imzadi 1979 → 23:28, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

Memorial highway designations

• "William Durant managed the fledgling Buick Manufacturing Company, making it the number one car-building in the country by 1908." Did you leave out a word here? Because otherwise I don't think "car-building" would be hyphenated.

Should probably note when the local politician came up with this idea.
