Jamaica v USA women's match

You'll see that I have made some corrections to the Jamaica vs USA women's match. This is to both the spelling of players' names and to the try-scorers and goal-kickers. I've left the originals as comments, I presume you've copied from the match report on the European Rugby League site.

The names are based on the Team Roster graphic tweeted/posted by USA RL, the Jamaica squad graphic tweeted/posted by Jamaica RL, and the team sheets which Jamaica RL tweeted/posted in response to my request for the team list. Mostly the team sheets agree with the graphic, but there are a few difference, which I have noted as comments.

The try-scoring on the ERL is wrong. I've watched the game twice, 1st when it streamed and 2nd as a exercise to get the scorers. At that time, Monday night Sydney time, I wasn't sure whether the ERL would post a match report.

I wasn't sure of the 1st USA try-scorer. I had narrowed it down to centre Campbell or half Treco, with Campbell favoured based on where she ran from.

Most of the other USA tries were called by team manager Miranda (Alongside Roy), although there was a time when audio was lost. Also, Agnes Fuerst clearly scores the 12th USA try, but is attributed a goal not a try in the ERL report. That also has Stewart scoring for USA when she played for Jamaica.

The stream on YouTube, and the replay of it, does NOT sow Jamaica's try. So, for now I am unable to challenge the ERL on tha one.

I just took the details from ERL, it doesn't surprise me that there are inconsistencies. I'll take yesterday's USA v Canada details from ERL as well but I'll check the teams against screen grabs from the broadcast on YouTube. Nthep (talk) 11:10, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
