I'm thinking about adding this section on New Zealand. Let me know if there are any changes that should be made and especially if it reaches neutral point of view.Tthompson70381 (talk) 19:03, 7 November 2014 (UTC)

==New Zealand==

New Zealand has been experimenting with intelligence-led policing since the 1990's and has implemented it throughout the New Zealand Police, which is the national police organization in the country of New Zealand. Intelligence-led policing is encouraged throughout the districts of the New Zealand Police, and is implemented throughout the country and is an implementation of intelligence-led policing throughout an entire country. One of the results of this experiment is that there was little sharing of information between districts in New Zealand. In the New Zealand study there were problems both organizational and behavioral that hindered the results of either using the information or gathering the information to make intelligence based decisions. The New Zealand Police are now implementing more aspects of problem-oriented policing to their intelligence-led policing system.

It would be helpful to have all the sources within the article cited throughout the sources, for example there are linked sources in the opening section, United Kingdom section, United States section, and Issues section, but it is different in the critical developments section, empirical support section, and crime prevention implications section. Hey so I wanted to add this to the issue section: Another issue in Intelligence-led policing has moved more towards surveillance with traces of community policing, it focuses on information collection and analyzing data. However the way that this data is collected in relation to the fourth amendment, is a concern for many. With the emergence of technology it has given officers access to information that was otherwise unobtainable in the past. What so you think? Sgipson13 (talk) 14:28, 14 November 2014 (UTC)

The last paragraph of the "United States" section is confusing. There's a direct quote that starts at the end of the first line, but it's not clear where it ends because there are other citations before the closing quotation mark at the end of the paragraph. This needs to be fixed. The "Issues" section could also be expanded with references to more recent issues that have come to light. Also, the in-line citations in some of the sections need to be revised with the correct ref tags that link to the References section. I like the idea to add a section on case law in the U.S. and a discussion of the issue of American suspicion. Profmwilliams (talk • contribs) 19:19, 6 November 2014 (UTC)

1.From the part you added to Wikipedia, it is all neutral point of view to include the outline portion, so good job on that. You used the textbook as your reference for the edit so that is obviously a reliable source, but try to find another few sources for your next edits. 2.In your sentence, “One of the differences between the British model and the U.S. model is that of balancing American constitutional rights, and the act of gathering intelligence.” You should change it to “… rights with the act of gathering intelligence.” Other than this, try to keep adding more info based off your outline. You have a nice outline, but you haven’t really added much to the page itself. 3. Looking at the outline for planned revisions I liked how there were specific citations included in the list of things to be adjusted in the article, such as increased intelligence-led policing beyond 1990's and 9/11 with the citation of carter and carter. An area that could be worked on is the vagueness of what is going to be done regarding certain things such as the "Possible of Expansion of Canada section". Maybe you could write some specific things that you would want to add or change. The "Expansion of issues and potential of current listed issues having been resolved or near resolved" part of the outline is kind of confusing and I'm not sure what is trying to be said or done to the article. A little clarification about this might be good. 4.
