I would not merge IMC and MC

I am a teacher of a new marketing. My students find it very handy and useful to inquire with WIKI. Merging of IMC and MC would complicate search and apprehetion of two different topics (even when they are very close to each other). DO NOT merge IMC with Marketing Communications

I am a professional marketing strategist and the two are distinct. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.40.81.59 (talk) 22:29, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

MARKETING AGENT HERE:

Do not merge IMC with marketing communications. They're completely separate topics. IMC is a specific methodology and practice, whereas marketing communications is a general description. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.139.105.186 (talk) 00:09, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Please dont merge the two... They are very well the different. Infact IMC is rather a new concept than MC. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.239.78.226 (talk) 06:28, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

Even though Integrated Marketing Communications is a subset of the broader Marketing Communications topic, ICM should stand on it's own because it is defined as combining various Marketing Communications.
