I agree with merging these two articles. They are almost identical, leaving the reader with the task of reading the same stuff twice to find any differences and absorb the reasons for them. There is no point in that. The single article can (and I think already does) explain fully how the two words relate to each other.

I suggest a single article called "Inscape and Instress" with two REDIRECT articles called "Inscape" and "Instress" respectively.

I disagree - in the philosophy of Parmenides, it seems instress preceeds inscape, or instress is the source of inscape, but they are not the same.
