Issues with the lead section

Lead section has multiple issues, not only is it too long for the rest of the article, it contains almost all the information that makes the article meaningful. And none of that is cited, neither in the lead, nor elsewhere in the article. For the purpose of the lead section, See MOS:LEAD. The lead section should provide an accessible overview that is a summary of the article. It should not be the majority of the article. An article should be able to stand alone without the lead section as the lead section follows the body of an article, and is a summary of the rest of the article below the table of contents. To address these issues, summarise the lead section in one or two sentences, as a new lead, but keep the text that is currently in the lead section and move that into the body of the article, below the first heading. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 11:07, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
