editsomething one has to be careful of checking when coining a music genre name is that it hasn't been used before. i can see that this page is a straight copy of intelligent dance music plus a short paragraph at the start, and i've googled "indie dance music 'idm'" and the only reference i found linking it to idm was on http://www.jahsonic.com/Stupid.html which gives a date of Oct 2005, and coincidentally enough there has only been two edits on this article, both on October 24. if no-one has any conclusive evidence linking "indie dance music" to "intelligent dance music" then i'm going to change this article to redirect to indie dance. --MilkMiruku 15:28, 12 November 2005 (UTC)
- I went ahead and did it. IDM has never meant "indie dance music", and Wikipedia is obviously not the place to try and introduce a new usage. Junjk 19:48, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
