09-November-2006: The article was created today, using translated sources: the History section was paraphrased from a German-to-English translation of information from the Naturhistorisches Museum in Vienna at: webpage for history of Naturhistorisches Museum (website: http://www.nhm-wien.ac.at). That webpage had some awkward phrases, possibly generated by auto-translation from the German page, and some words were still in German. Also complicating the history is the 40-year time span: the Imperial Museum had a protracted history because the initial reorganization of the Vienna museums began during a 25-year period (1851-1876), with construction of the Natural History Court Museum spanning almost 20 years. -Wikid77 23:59, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
