This page is apparently about the modern path, but begins immediately claiming to be the Oldest Road, pre-Roman,blah, blah, when the page about that ancient road, the Icknield Way, clearly states that this pre-Roman story is not really known and is disputed. Furthermore, the Ridgeway says IT is the Oldest.
