Although Trackinfo like to call it "baseless complaining", in fact the article is in fact a long list of useless quotes and irrelevant details. Ticket prices are not relevant info, but advertising. It is still not clear if there will be a second version, although the article suggests that it is the first of a series. The "red carpet event" is just a filler and not relevant.

But the most important info is missing: how many people were there (app.)? That can make the difference between notable or not notable and baseless advertising, to quote the original accusation. The Banner talk 21:29, 24 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

At the time of the original posting, the tag without discussion was "baseless complaining." Defacing any article with a tag, without appropriate follow up is "baseless complaining." If you don't like something (which is why people post tags, they are expressing their opinion) then take the time to tell others what you think is wrong. The general public doesn't see these discussions where editors should try to make articles better. All they see is your spray paint on the wall.
Ticket prices posted before the event would be advertising, after the fact, it is documentation. When the prices are announced next year, wikipedia has documented the historical price. We are providing information to the public.
Useless quotes? Because the producer distinguishes between the organization's other festival and their intention with this one is particularly relevant due to your attempt to merge the two articles, as if they are indistinguishable. You have also nominated both articles for deletion, so your intention toward all of this content is clear.
Red carpet filler: This was essentially a Hollywood event. Who attends these things is relevant. It generates press coverage. It did so here. In your nominations for deletion, you criticized the lack of press coverage. You made it relevant. This IS additional coverage. From long distance, the Daily Mail only sent a photographer to shoot the red carpet. They didn't bother spending 5 hours to report on the rest of the show. The other quotes from the show were from the LA Times and OC Register who did. And their courage was again answering the question you posed relative to the unique character of this event.
