Merger of 3 articles
editIGK@, IGKC and Kappachain immunoglobulin essentially cover the same ground and should probably be combined into one article that describes the immunoglobulin Kappa chain - or even more dramatically merged into the immunoglobulin light chain article. The first two of these articles were created automatically by user:ProteinBoxBot, so I'm not too sure how this will impact a merger. Anyone have any feelings on how to tackle this and which description to stick with? ~ Ciar ~ (Talk to me!) 07:13, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
I agree that the three articles should be merged. There is unique information in each article that should be preserved, but a single article covering the genetic and protein aspects of the immunoglobulin kappa chain would be a much more effective presentation. I don't think these articles should be merged with the immunoglobulin light chain article, as the level of detail needed to make the kappa chain article useful and relevant is too much for the more general light chain article. - Merged Kappachain immunoglobulin into IGK@. Not sure about IGKC, so I left it at that. --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 12:03, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
