Talk:ICBM address

Redundant edit

Elevation is implied by the Geographic Location, so this quote is redundant; "(A real missile address would include target elevation.)"

That depends. If the ICBM was set to detonate on impact, then that would be correct. However, if it was set to detonate at altitude, then the elevation of the detonation would be needed. StuRat 16:40, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

The photo as of 2010-09-04 is of an SLBM, not an ICBM. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.96.131.164 (talk) 01:06, 5 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

interpretation as "how to kill me[the user]" edit

an arc second is about 30 metres[1]. Is the ICBM address a joke about that the user can be killed by an missile strike at that location, as in "in case a government has to kill me, shot here" 2A02:810B:C040:1DF4:A515:7438:9D4:9B2E (talk) 16:35, 25 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
