Thrust Ratings Comment edit

I am doubtful of some of these thrust ratings:

Please see the type certificate: https://www.easa.europa.eu/sites/default/files/dfu/IM%20E%20069%20Issue04_20191212.pdf

Where is the source for the thrust ratings in the specifications table? Legoboyvdlp Let's talk! 23:25, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

IAE V2500 or now P&W V2500 edit

Hi,now the product of the IAE V2500 is owned by Pratt & Whitney? BeirutMa2021 (talk) 22:20, 2 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

During October 2011, it was announced that Rolls-Royce had agreed to sell its 32.5% stake in the joint venture to Pratt & Whitney's parent company, United Technologies (UTC), giving UTC a combined equity ownership share of 49.5% (which is different from UTC's total program share in the IAE collaboration, which stands at 61%). The transaction was completed on 29 June 2012.Now the Pratt & Whitney will take care of the V2500? BeirutMa2021 (talk) 22:25, 2 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Unit cost? edit

Apologies if I'm missing something, but I haven't been able to find a source for the US$11.1M unit cost. Is this based on inflation taken from the 1989 figure or an accurate representation of the costs today? If it's the former, surely this may be misleading and should be clarified in the article, along with when "today" is? Thanks, 138.251.128.81 (talk) 01:10, 16 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

I've noticed the formatting of the page confirms it relates to inflation, so I've removed the claim. 138.251.128.81 (talk) 00:40, 18 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
