Birch and Beech conjoined

I don't think that beech and birch can share a vascular system. The photo appearers portray mechanical joining only. Maybe it just need some rewording. Please check and change the description of the photo if I am correct, thanks. Slowart (talk) 14:35, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Religious aspects

The reference given [Enclyclopaedia Britannica] appearers to be a different subject. While there is likely a religious reference to "two trees growing together" this one just doesn't fit. Lots of religion around trees, but this ref's not about husband and wife trees, it's about trees and marriage. Slowart (talk) 14:53, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
