Proposal to revert, removing new section: The seven Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent edit

The added section is verbatim from the the ICRC site. The Pictet link in the Sources section lists and discusses the RC principles. I would suggest reverting to the original text and adding the link: [1]just after Principles of the Red Cross, would give a direct link to the seven Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross, in addition to the commentary....The mention of the principles under the RC section is both repetitive and a little confusing as i.e. the humanitarian principle of Independence is not exactly the same as the RC principle of Independence. Having had no response, I have implemented the above.

Humanitarian Accountability edit

This section repeats word for word paragraphs from the Wikipedia article on Humanitarian Accountability Partnership International. I would suggest removing the duplicated text here, putting in a more generic para on the important subject of humanitarian accountability, mentioning existing initiatives such as HAP, COMPAS, and ALNAP. An internal link to Humanitarian Accountability Partnership International would lead readers to info specific to HAP.--Joel Mc (talk) 16:35, 5 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Introduction edit

the introduction is not what you would expect an introduction to be. Rather than defining, it starts with outlining a problem. 94.173.122.147 (talk) 15:43, 9 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
