Thank you for your quick reply to my request. Please see below for additional clarification on the requested changes. I hope this is helpful:

(1) FIRST PARAGRAPH: Please move the phrase "commonly referred to as The Bay (La Baie in French)" so it follows "... namesake business division is Hudson's Bay". It should read: The Hudson's Bay Company (HBC; French: Compagnie de la Baie d'Hudson), [7] is a Canadian retail business group. A fur trading business for much of its existence, HBC now owns and operates retail stores in Canada, the United States and parts of Europe, including Belgium, The Netherlands, and Germany. The company's namesake business division is Hudson's Bay, commonly referred to as The Bay (La Baie in French),

and other divisions include Galeria Kaufhof, Gilt, Home Outfitters, Lord & Taylor, and Saks Fifth Avenue (2) and Saks OFF 5TH.

(HBC is the parent company. Hudson's Bay, the store, is what is commonly known as "The Bay")

(2) FIRST PARAGRAPH: Please add "Saks OFF 5TH" to the list of other divisions so it reads: The company's namesake business division is Hudson's Bay, commonly referred to as The Bay (La Baie in French), and other divisions include Galeria Kaufhof, Gilt, Home Outfitters, Lord & Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue and Saks OFF 5TH. (Source: http://investor.hbc.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=780766)

(3) FOURTH PARAGRAPH: Please correct the cost cited to CA $3.9 billion so it reads: In September 2015, HBC acquired the German department store chain Galeria Kaufhof and its Belgian subsidiary from Metro Group for CA $3.9 billion.[15][16] (Source: http://investor.hbc.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=934427)

(4) FIFTH PARAGRAPH: The sentence that reads: "HBC said the expansion would cost CA$340 million and create 2,500 jobs in the stores and another 2,500 temporary construction jobs." requires clarification. It should read: HBC said the expansion is expected to result in the creation of over 2,500 store jobs, 2,500 construction jobs and 300 million Euros in capital investments, the majority of which will be funded through landlord incentives. (Source: http://investor.hbc.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=971214)

(5) FIFTH PARAGRAPH: Please change Saks Off Fifth to Saks OFF 5TH in the following sentence: The Dutch stores would operate under the "Hudson's Bay" and "Saks OFF 5TH" brands.[18] (Source: http://investor.hbc.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=971214)

(6) Under the heading "21st Century", THIRD PARAGRAPH: Please remove the word "luxury" ahead of "department store chain" so it reads: On 16 July 2008, the company was sold to NRDC Equity Partners, a private equity firm based in Purchase, New York which already owned Lord & Taylor, the oldest (8) department store chain in the United States.[11][69]

(7) Under the heading "21st Century", FIFTH PARAGRAPH: Please remove the line that reads: "At the time, the company was run by President Bonnie Brooks.[74]" (9) Bonnie Brooks was president of Hudson’s Bay, the store, not HBC or any other of its banners.

(8) Under the heading "21st Century", 11TH PARAGRAPH: Please replace first sentence with the following -- it has the store counts corrected: The company also has retail operations in Europe, including 10 Hudson’s Bay stores in the Netherlands and five Saks OFF 5TH stores in Germany as well as the 100 stores of the Galeria Kaufhof department store chain in Germany.[88] (Source: Source: http://www3.hbc.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/2016-CSR-Report_FINAL_ENG_RED.pdf)

(9) Under the heading "Operations", first paragraph: Remove the list of HBC Rewards partners so it reads: HBC also has other HBC Rewards corporate partners; HBC Rewards points can be redeemed in house or into corporate partners' gift cards and certificates. (The list stated is out of date. Source: http://www.hbc.com/hbcrewards/)

(10) Under the heading "Operations", second paragraph: Please remove the word "agency" so it reads: The HBC Foundation is a charity involved in social issues and service. (Source: http://www3.hbc.com/hbc/socialresponsibility/hbc-foundation-2/)

Not done - Please find WP:SECONDARY sources to support the statements and the referenced statements will not be removed even if you provide secondary references. For the record, Wikipedia is not an extension of the company's marketing. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:29, 19 January 2018 (UTC)

Thank you again for your quick reply in making the change above, and also for your feedback. Understood that this is not HBC's written work -- we are only looking to provide updated information and correct inaccuracies in the entry.
