Innovators and Idealists edit

I've listened to a few episodes of this podcast and I'm really enjoying it. I especially like to hear about the bumps and bruises that happened on the way to success and how people pressed through them. I noticed that "how I Built This" is similar to NPR's "From Scratch" and there's nothing wrong with that because I believe in having as much of a good thing as possible. The tag line for the show mentions Innovators and Idealists and perhaps this is one area that can set it apart from the show "From Scratch" a little. Bill gates used to be more of an entrepreneur and innovator, but now he's more of an idealist who is trying to make the world a better place. I'd love to hear how he got into the idealist phase of his life (and what he's accomplished in this regard and trying to do in the future). There's lots of people making awesome innovations that are not necessarily entrepreneurs. What about the innovators who invent new scientific technology? Sure it's possible that they may become super rich from the technology, but that probably wasn't their primary goal. Basically, I'm interested in hearing about anyone that is making the world a better place or has been successful in some sense. Here's a list I found that should help kick start ideas for guests that fall more under the Innovator heading. https://www.technologyreview.com/lists/innovators-under-35/2016/ Does anyone have information about whether the show plans to speak more about the Innovators and Idealists as promised in its tag line? Also can someone make a link from my edit of the shows description to the show's official page to document what the show promises to be about. I'm not sure how to do that because I'm new here. Thanks!  :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.194.133.151 (talk) 22:15, 15 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
