G'day Guys, I have just started this article with a copy and paste from [[b:History of wireless telegraphy and broadcasting in Australia#Nauru|]] Once nearing completion, it is intended to copy this material into [[w:History of broadcasting in Australia#Nauru|]] which was the original motivator for gathering this stuff together. Sections names which were annualised from Wikibook have been renamed more appropriate to a Wikipedia article. Bear with me for a few weeks, I will need several hours to condense down most of the block quotes from the Wikibook into more digestible paragraphs. Still, it is nice to have a readily accessible gathering of this material. I am away from my collection of World Radio and TV Handbooks & Passport to World Band Radios, so have little post independence material, at this stage. Since you have no access to WRTH, here is some info from one of mine: in 1993 WRTH lists 4000 radio sets on the island. Nauru Broadcasting Service runs an AM radio station C2AM on 1323 kHz power 200 Watts. Operating 1900-1130 GMT. Station manager is Millicent Aroi; technician: Anzac Dediya.
