Talk:Hessian (Web service protocol)

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

I notice that the info box states Hessian uses the Apache 2.0 licence. However, checking the actual distribution at the Hessian web site shows it is still citing the Apache 1.1 licence. Does this page need to be corrected?

"Binary protocol" and "attachments" edit

Just because it's a "binary protocol" doesn't automatically mean it's suitable to "sending binary data."

It is only suitable if that has been foreseen in the protocol definition.

OTOH if you foresee such in a text-oriented protocol, you can also send binary data.

So I don't get the point?
