Talk:Health tourism

Latest comment: 8 years ago by ONUnicorn in topic Proposed merge with Medical tourism

I think India is the place to be for surgeries. I did my knee replacement surgery at the apollo and the results realy are showing. It cost me under 20% of what it would have if I did it in My home town Chicago

Different how?

This was a redirect to Medical tourism. Norretop removed the redirect [1] with the edit summary, "I set up an own page for health tourism in order to more clearly distinguish it from the term medical tourism." However, from the text on the page it's not clear how Health tourism differs from Medical tourism. It seems like the term health tourism might be a little broader, in which case it's not clear how it differs from wellness tourism. @Norretop:, why do you feel a redirect is inappropriate? ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 16:20, 27 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

@ONUnicorn:: Agreed, health tourism is broader, because it includes preventative and less PhD-based measures. But those seem to be what wellness tourism is. Perhaps make this a disambiguation page? Otherwise, it's perpetually a stub. -- Zanimum (talk) 17:01, 27 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

See the section above. The person who unredirected it has not been back to answer my query. I'm inclined to think it should be re-redirected. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 14:26, 24 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
