has·let(hās'lĭt, hāz'-) n. The heart, liver, and other edible viscera of an animal, especially hog viscera.
It is sold minced & mixed with herbs/breadcrumbs etc formed into a loaf and sliced (as alluded on the main page)

- Depends where you come from. In south Lincolnshire, where it originates, it's definitely pronounced 'Hayce-let'. I've heard 'hazlet' in Lancashire and Yorkshire, and in some parts of northern Lincs that have evidently been corrupted by their proximity to Yorkshire.
