I reviewed this offline last night, but I'll make sure I post the review tomorrow. A handful of little things to be addressed, but it's almost an instant GA pass. -- Zanimum (talk) 20:53, 21 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • Certainly. I await the posting of your review comments. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:54, 21 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Very little that needs addressing.

Passing lead, infobox.

Plot

  • Soekasari: I'm finding weather averages and a prayer time chart when I Google it. Do we know if the village in the film is the village in Jawa Timur?
    • West Java, one would presume, as that's where almost all of Saeroen's films were set. However, that's not particularly pertinent to the plot, and the novelisation is not explicit. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 00:35, 23 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
      • I was hoping the novelization said, but no biggie.
        • Checking again, the novelization gives it to be near the Ciliwung River. West Java (but as I said, don't think it's that pertinent). — Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:04, 23 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Production

  • Just checking that "Populair's Film" is the correct spelling?
  • From Biran: "Populair's Film ... Yo Kim Tjan, the owner of this company, was also the owner of Populair Shop in Pasar Baru, Central Batavia." This spelling is supported by the February 1942 edition of Pertjatoeran Doenia dan Film. Other sources (this, for instance) give "Populer", which would (currently) be the correct Indonesian spelling, but I fear is a case of "copyediting history". — Crisco 1492 (talk) 00:35, 23 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • "Unions interest"-->"Union's interest"
  • "which was scored by Hugo Dumas' Lief Java." this needs one or two words context, it's much clearer in Gagak Item
  • Done; I did not add the second sentence, as we a) already have a link (we didn't when I wrote Gagak Item), and b) have already mentioned kroncong — Crisco 1492 (talk) 00:35, 23 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Passing "Release and reception".

Legacy

  • Wanita needs a year, as the sentence is about the end date of Saeroen's time at the studio.

Passing explanatory notes, references, works cited, external links.

Image licenses good. -- Zanimum (talk) 18:48, 22 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
