.

Actually there was a group of Hamms distributors that had bought the brewery during the 70's before it was sold to Olympia. My Dad was one of those owners.

Other Hamms Breweries

There was also a Hamm's in San Francisco. If Hamm's had other plants, perhaps that should be mentioned. After the brewery in SF closed, it was used as studios for bands - something memorable to many San Franciscans.Cleshne (talk) 06:59, 14 August 2010 (UTC)

Hamm's is still brewed (the 6 pack in my fridge were made in Milwaukee, WI). Saying "Hamm's is the name of a former American brewery in Saint Paul, Minnesota" seems to imply that the beer isn't made any more. Should that be clarified or is it out-of-scope if this entry is related to Minnesota topics?

not sure where Cleshne got the information but there were not that many vats - perhaps 64 at most so no 200 bands, lived there myself so I knowNstream28 (talk) 18:15, 25 January 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, I fixed that. Cleshne (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 16:36, 26 January 2013 (UTC)

re: Jingle

I recall that, for awhile in the early 1960s, Hamms' TV commercials had a theme song that was set to the "Totem Tom-Tom" music that Rudolph Friml had composed for Rose-Marie in the 1920s. WHPratt (talk) 15:18, 31 October 2014 (UTC)

...particularly the animated cartoons, are not mentioned. When did they first appear on TV, and when did they disappear? Jeh (talk) 03:46, 12 October 2016 (UTC)
