Talk:Half Caste (poem)

Audio recording: I went to see the GCSE poets doing some peerformances on a school trip and I just want other students out there to know that when Agard himself performs the poem, it is read, not with malice but with humour.82.15.9.10 10:51, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I can testify to this also, I went to an event called GCSE Poetry live recently (23rd November 2007) where Agard read the poem. He read it in a most humorous way.DrazharLn (talk) 20:18, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

It is like a "Humourus" poem, but not about it being half caste, but more that he's mocking the people who call him half caste. --91.105.72.124 (talk) 22:12, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Inclusion of the Poem

edit

Could we include a copy of the poem? Or does that contradict with the copyright laws? Yash (talk) 16:42, 27 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dates seem off

edit

The dates seem off in the article. It states that the poem is from a 2005 collection; is that implying that it was written/published in 2005? It certainly predates that. The article also states that the poem has been part of the AQA syllabus since 2002. I remember studying the poem during my GCSEs, and I left school in 2001. The poem must have been used in a GCSE syllabus (I can't remember if I did AQA) since before 2002. AdamBristol (talk) 21:02, 29 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
