GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

The article is basically a Good Article. However, I feel that there are a few minor details to "fix".

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
  • HMS Zealous was given a straight stem – Does this mean the bow of the ship? If so, what does it mean for the "bow" to be straight?
  • ...converted to an armoured frigate for the price of £239,258. – Is this in 1862 pounds?
  • Her bottom had not been cleaned since she had left Great Britain... – When was the cleaning?
    • Linked. Stems of wooden warships and the earliest ironclads were generally curved outward.
    • Yes, see the note for the converted cost.
    • It was cleaned before she commissioned.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 23:50, 18 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    B. Focused:
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:

Thanks for the review.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 23:50, 18 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
