Talk:Growl Student e-Radio

The significance of this article is that this is the first internet radio station in the SW MO region. It may even be the first in MO. This station is an exclusive internet radio station and hopes to expand into further future media. It's related to an entry already posted on Wikipedia, "Missouri State University." I was hoping this could be a stub that would be filled out by more perspectives than just mine. Though I can certainly provide more info.

Ok, since you assert significance I will remove the speedy delete, and replace it with an AfD tag. This is becuase I disagree that this constitutes notability. However, your claim invalidates the speedy delete, the AfD is a discussion proccess with other editors to decide if it should be deleted.

Your best chance is to find references to this site in multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the site itself. This is really all we need to establish notability. I fully understand your concern and, far from taking offense, appreciate the effort to make this the strongest listing possible. I don't know that there is any documentation to confirm my claim to be the first in the Ozarks to stream continuously and exclusively. I'll keep looking. How about including this entry info in the history of internet radio. It already states "In 1999, one of the first University/College stations to operate was in Antigonish, Nova Scotia at St. Francis Xavier University CFXU." The Growl was doing this one year earlier. The history also lists terristrial broadcast stations that started simulcasting earlier, but none identified solely with the internet. This is the point that I'm trying to make with The Growl. That it is forging new ground in media by being solely dedicated to internet radio. JussD 19:15, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
