Page Move edit

I've taken the liberty of making a page move to the more formal name of the lake. I can't find any official reference to anything except Green Lake in the links, so this seems to make more sense to me. In any case, I'm happy to admit being wrong, but this seems to be most appropriate at the moment. Cheers, PaddyM 21:48, 3 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I dont really know how to use wikipedia, but the correct spelling is Puchyan River, not Pukyan

Day Cho Lah edit

Nothing has a "Native American name"; different Native American languages use different terms for the same place (and sometimes multiple terms in a single language, just like "Green Lake" vs. "Big Green Lake". It would be helpful to know which language "Day Cho Lah" is/was in, and also its definition/etymology if known. Judging from this map it looks to me like Hochunk (Winnebago) is most likely, if "Day Cho Lah" was the local name. But it would be well to find specific documentation. --Haruo (talk) 15:53, 31 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
