More Citations? edit

There are forum posts cited without reference (ie urls) which I think should be added. I believe they come from here.(Nvm, already done) Also, for historical purposes a link to this Gmax Whitepaper could be useful. Though Gmax is discontinued and without warranty, it is still available for download after free registration at TurboSquid. Someperson8329 (talk) 04:31, 27 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Needs structurising edit

Right now people look into a wall of text, which is a no-go for any resource. I've added some line-breaks to structurise it, so that it reads better. It does need more structurising though.

games with packs? edit

if you could, please add a link to a page with a FULL list of games, it would really help. It wouldn't even need to be a wikipedia article......

oh well.... the what links here helps a bit.

Advertisement? edit

This reads like an advertisement.

these dilemmas, despite its much more basic capabilities.

Gmax changed all of this.

The accessibility of Gmax and its game packs to the average user meant that, for the first time, users and modders had legitimate access to content creation tools of the same power as those used by game developers and art teams; if the prospective amateur artist had the proper skills to use the tools (a separate matter entirely, but feasible), they could create new models and content every bit as good as that which came with professionally made games.

Can someone please clean this article up? Its like it's advertising gmax. I'm going to remove the "changed all of this" nonsense.

URL archive edit

Maybe not, but perhaps some of these links should be submitted to the Internet Archive. The program files are not that large, and IA can host them.72.174.71.134 (talk) 14:20, 6 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

gmax is not available anymore?! edit

I opened link http://www.turbosquid.com/gmax and see:

Although you may have downloaded gmax on our website previously, please note this is no longer a supported product through the TurboSquid website nor through Autodesk as they have discontinued it and have specifically asked for its removal. You should reach out to Autodesk for any further feedback or support questions.
